A Musician Manages Pain with Music

My name is DeAnna Rice-Davis and I play the fiddle in the pirate band, THE DOXIE CHICKS. For years I have suffered from deteriorating discs and fibromyalgia. I also juggle being a professional psychic and IT tech. So, you you know I really, really mean it when I sing Carly Simon’s, “Haven’t Got Time for the Pain.”
When I first saw the link to videos from Source Vibrations I have to admit I was skeptical. Jaded from years of doctors, pain medication, and a justifiable mistrust of the AMA my first thought was “Right, another way to get your money and promise you the stars and skies.” My second thought was “I play music part time for a living, I hear musical keys constantly, it should already be working.”
Well, I sampled a few of their tracks on www.youtube.com. And let me tell ya, I am so relaxed right now that I sleep through the night sometimes for change. And now I’m waiting to interview one of the creators to find out why it works. I’ll let you know when I’ve done the interview. I can’t wait.
